It’s difficult to be a mother, but even more challenging to raise a child while working. Fortunately for Kapamilya actress Toni Gonzaga, she has a few tricks up her sleeves when it comes to taking care of her baby Seve. Toni Gonzaga-Soriano gave birth to her first-born son with Paul Soriano during the 30th of Septembe 2016. Today, baby Seve is already a two-year-old cute toddler who is much beloved not only by his family, but also by his fans.
However, when it comes to taking care of a toddler, it’s not all rainbow and sunshine. It can be very overwhelming to raise them, that’s why Toni was more than glad to share some of her parenting tips with Seve. Having a hard time setting bed time? The actress has a simple trick with that:
“There was so much going on in the room. He likes to read books and play with his toys, he likes his Legos and all that. We don’t want to be too strict and impose a system on him. We give him the allowance to do what he wants within of course the limitation that’s still proper and okay for him.”
When it comes to Seve’s education, Toni made sure that her baby is doing good in all aspects. As a matter of fact, baby Seve has his own tutor who is responsible for teaching him basic developmental skills during the weekend.
In an interview, Toni revealed that she got the recommendation from Vicki Belo herself, whose daughter Scarlet is also being tutored:
“He goes to class ng weekends. Meron siyang class na tini-take for social skills and yung tutor niya is for motor skills. Tuesday and Thursday ang tutor niya and then on weekends dun yung class niya. Same teacher as Scarlet. Recommended by Vicki Belo. Actually mas mabilis yung development. In this day and age kasi you don’t really have that much time anymore to focus and sit down so there’s someone to help.”
