The K-pop group Momoland has been one of the most-searched girl groups on Google this 2018. The nine-member group catapulted into fame with their hit single and viral dance craze “Boom Boom,” which became the national anthem for most K-pop lovers in 2017.
Among the nine members of Momoland, Nancy is the most popular. Nancy Jewel McDonie is a half-American, half-Korean member who went viral for her stunning visuals during their live performances. Nancy even rose into ranks of the most popular K-pop female performers today.
Some fans even compared Nancy to Filipina actress Liza Soberano. Liza, who was voted as the “World’s Most Beautiful Face” of 2017, bore a striking resemblance to the Momoland member. As a matter of fact, most people have mistaken the two as identical twins!
Last year, Nancy was made aware of her similarity with Liza. During a video, she expressed how honored she feels and how excited she is to meet the Filipina actress in person. Then finally, on November 2018, the two lookalikes finally saw each other in person.
Momoland flew to the Philippines to conduct a free concert in Ilocor Norte. After their show, they also guested in “It’s Showtime,” where they had the pleasure of meeting the hosts and Liza Soberano. Not wanting to waste this much-anticipated moment, Liza and Nancy decided to take a selfie together.
Their selfie immediately went viral on social media. Many people claimed that they definitely can pass off as twins! However, some Filipino fans claimed that Liza’s beauty is much more pronounced.
